Jiffy Lube Food Drive drivers needed to collect donations from five locations in Salem and Keizer
one day every week from Nov. 21 through Dec. 31. Volunteers are encouaged to "adopt" one site and commit to bringing the food from that store on a regular basis. You must be able to lift grocery bags of canned food and load them into your own covered vehicle, then unload them at the MPFS warehouse. Drivers must be licensed and insured. Interested? Individuals needed for contacting new Sustainer Circle members to thank them for supporting our mission and verifying their e-mail addresses. Project starts in January. Volunteers work in two-hour shifts in the morning and afternoon.
Food repacking:
Tuesdays through Thursdays
6:00 to 8:00 pm.
Food sort or repack:
Monday through Friday
8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Event staffing
Volunteers needed to represent Marion-Polk Food Share at special events to raise hunger awareness.
