Emergency Food Box Program

You and your family are hungry. Your community can help you through rough times.

Marion-Polk Food Share’s Emergency Food Box program feeds hungry individuals and families on an urgent-need basis. We provide healthy food to alleviate hunger throughout Marion and Polk counties through:

• Direct distribution through neighborhood pantries
• Direct distribution through mobile pantries at high need schools
• Opening our warehouse to hunger-relief partners to cooler shop for fresh produce and dairy products

The Emergency Food Box Program provides a 3-5 days emergency food supply to families and individuals in crisis.

The Congregate Meal Site Program provides food to those in need on a regular basis as an integral part of their normal activities. This includes dining halls serving free meals, day care centers and shelters for foster care children, run-away children, and/or homeless families and individuals.
