Iskam MәkhMәk-Haws

Iskam MәkhMәk-Haws is a community gathering place in Grand Ronde. With a name that means “house where you get food” in Chinuk Wawa, Iskam MәkhMәk-Haws is a partnership between the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde and Marion Polk Food Share created to meet emergency food needs in the community. All are welcome.

Iskam MәkhMәk-Haws is focused equally on food and community building. There are regular classes for community members teaching about gardening, cooking, and food preservation.

Full pantry distributions take place on Fridays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Produce and bread-only distributions are held Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Volunteers are welcome at Iskam MәkhMәk-Haws. Please contact Francene Ambrose at if you would like to volunteer.
