How To Organize Your Food + Funds Drive

THE EVENT | Create a fun, flashy event to prompt community giving.   Food and funds don’t flow on their own, so get creative!

CREATE URGENCY |Your event should have a clear start and end date.  One or two weeks, no more than 1 month.  It can be fun, but remind folks why our mission is vital!

SIGN UP | Using the form at the bottom of this page, sign up! Big or small, we will help you along the way.

GET SPECIFIC |Choose an item from our TOP 5 poster, like peanut butter. Focus on driving funds and only that item.  (Don’t overwhelm your audience with choices!)

GET VOCAL|Post your drive on social media as posts and an event. Display posters or flyers, and use our TOP 5 posters in English and Spanish. Send emails, call a few key folks, and craft a timely press-release to local media.

FOOD & FUND TOGETHER|Every $10 donated helps to create 30 meals by keeping our trucks on the road and the freezers cold. They fund innovative programs to address the root causes of hunger and allow for bulk purchases at rock-bottom prices. Drive Food & Funds, together!
