An unforgettable tropical experience awaits attendees of Bonaventure Senior Living Plate Expectations, a benefit dinner and auction for Meals on Wheels. Tickets are now on sale for this year’s event on Saturday, June 13, at 5:30 p.m. at Center 50+ in Salem.

“Plate Expectations will be like an island vacation right here in Salem,” said Linda Kromer, Events Manager for Marion Polk Food Share. “Guests will enjoy tropical drinks, food and music while supporting a great cause.”

Tickets are available now and are $35 per person through May 31st and $40 per person after June 1.Proceeds from the event enable Meals on Wheels to promote the health and well-being of older adults and people with disabilities living in Salem and Keizer with the delivery of nutritious meals. Meals on Wheels, a program of Marion Polk Food Share, serves more than 200 people a month.

The event is supported by Bonaventure Senior Living, CBTwo Architects, Collier Law, Country Financial, Lenity Architects, Heritage Grove, Crossroads Fine Linen and Party Rentals, FastSigns and Allied Video Productions.
