Meals on Wheels Dining Room Coordinator - South Salem Senior Center
Our South Salem Meals on Wheels Dining Room site has an opening for a Dining Room Coordinator! This position serves to ensure that the Meals on Wheels dining room lunch services are provided in a friendly, timely and organized manner and trains volunteers to provide welcoming and respectful service to diners. This is a 30 hour per week position, Monday through Friday mornings and early afternoons. The position includes holiday, vacation and sick pay, but does not include medical benefits. We have a brand new opening for a Warehouse Generalist/Cooler Assistant! The Warehouse Generalist will support Marion-Polk Food Share's partner agencies by providing clients with fresh, nutritious produce and other cold food items. The Warehouse Generalist also works with the warehouse team to ensure safe and efficient product flow through the warehouse to the partner agencies, supporting the Food Share’s fight to end hunger. While this position is assigned to the Cooler, the Warehouse Generalist will operate as part of the warehouse team and will be cross-trained to assist in any capacity needed. This active position is 32 hours per week and includes holiday, vacation and sick pay, but does not include medical benefits. Meals on Wheels has an opening for a Program Assistant! The Program Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring the quality, consistent and caring service to Meals on Wheels volunteers and clients. They do this by daily route coordination for Meals on Wheels deliveries, coordinating and supporting our volunteer drivers and by performing general reception duties in the office. This position is 20-25 hours per week and does require a vehicle, auto insurance and a clean driving record, as they are a back up driver when needed. Included with this position are holiday, vacation and sick pay. Medical benefits are not included.
