Delivery Driver

Are you an experienced driver interested in obtaining your Class B CDL? Let us help you! Our drivers partner with the Food Share in providing excellent customer service to the public and to our partner agencies. This 32 hour per week position will pick up and deliver in Marion and Polk counties and is home every night! This position will also function as our back up CDL Driver, when needed. The Food Share is willing to train the right candidate and assist with the costs associated with obtaining a Class B CDL. The starting range is $12.33 - $14.18 per hour and will increase by two dollars per hour once a Class B CDL has been obtained within the first 90 days of hire. In addition, this position receives vacation, sick and holiday pay! Currently this position is not eligible for medical benefits. Director of Finance

We are hiring for a Director of Finance! The purpose of the Director of Finance position is to maximize Marion-Polk Food Share’s impact in the community by assuring the organization is financially responsible with its funds and that the board and staff are making decisions with the best financial data possible. The Director of Finance oversees budgeting, financial planning and evaluation, accounting, and services such as risk management and IT. This is a full-time position, with benefits, and the hiring pay range is $49,927-$66,778 annually, DOE. Warehouse Generalist - Volunteer Action Center Assistant

Warehouse Generalist/Volunteer Action Center Assistant: This Warehouse Generalist position is assigned to the Volunteer Action Center (VAC) and will assist the VAC & Repack Coordinator with the flow of emergency food and production. They will also ensure necessary supplies are available for the day’s volunteer activities and assist in ensuring a positive volunteer experience by training, engaging and working with volunteers in the VAC. This position will also be cross-trained in the other Warehouse Generalist positions and may function as a backup driver if needed. This position is 30 hours per week and includes vacation, sick and holiday pay, but does not include medical benefits. The starting pay will be between $12.33 and $14.18 depending on experience. Warehouse Generalist - Order Filler

Warehouse Generalist/Order Filler: This Warehouse Generalist will be assigned to Order Filling as their primary duty, however they will be cross-trained in the other Warehouse Generalist positions and may function as a backup driver if needed. The Order Filler helps to ensure that product flows through the warehouse to the partner agencies safely, efficiently and accurately so our partner agencies can continue the fight to end hunger. They will do this by working as a team to help fill agency orders and by assisting other Warehouse positions where needed. This position is 30 hours per week and includes vacation, sick and holiday pay, but does not include medical benefits. The starting pay will be between $12.33 and $14.18 depending on experience. Temporary Prep Cook for Meals on Wheels

Temporary Prep Cook for Meals on Wheels, located at Center 50+! The Prep Cook ensures that healthy meals are prepared for seniors in our Meals on Wheels program by preparing ingredients, maintaining a sanitary work environment and adhering to food industry best practices. This position is 20 hours per week and includes sick and holiday pay, but does not include medical benefits. The starting salary range is between $11.23 - $12.92 DOE. We anticipate this position may last 90 days or longer. Donor Services Assistant

We have a new opening for a part-time Donor Services Assistant with our Development Team! The Donor Services Assistant supports the success of the Food Share by maintaining accurate donor information used for fundraising, decision making, strategy and analysis. This position is responsible for updating and maintaining donor records, entering and auditing data within the Food Share database and providing assistance with gift entry and donor communications. The Donor Services position is 25 hours per week and includes vacation, sick and holiday pay, but does not include medical benefits. The starting pay range is $12.32 - $14.18 depending on experience and education. Garden and Education Program Coordinator

Marion-Polk Food Share is looking for a full-time Garden and Education Program Coordinator! This position works to increase community self-sufficiency through providing access to community gardens, garden resources and community education opportunities. The Program Coordinator is responsible for the daily operations of the Food Share’s community Gardens Program and supports over 60 community gardens through network development, organization, training, resource procurement and distribution, volunteer coordination and garden consulting. In addition, they serve as the lead coordinator for the Food Share’s Community Education Programs such as Seed to Supper and Cooking Matters.
