We have a brand new opening for a Volunteer Coordinator! The Volunteer Coordinator will report to our Volunteer & Vocational Training Manager and will help to expand the Food Share’s capacity by ensuring that we are an attractive option for volunteers in our community. This position will connect with community partners and groups to share the mission of the Food Share. They will also work with staff to develop and fill volunteer opportunities. An important part of this position is to foster a culture of engagement with our volunteers, focusing on recruiting, retaining and recognizing our wonderful volunteers.
This position is full-time, with benefits, and the starting pay range will be between $15.07 - $17.71 per hour. We expect this position to start approximately June 1. New position! The Farm Share Rx Coordinator position is a part time, temporary position, working from June 6, to approximately October 3, 2018. The purpose of this position is to increase access to healthy food by coordinating our prescription Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program. The Coordinator will be responsible for organizing, coordinating and facilitating the distributions of free CSA shares for 14 weeks to patients of two partner clinics in Grand Ronde and Northeast Salem. They will also coordinate nutrition classes, prepare materials, food tastings and coordinate with the partner clinics. This position is 30 hours per week and will pay approximately $15 per hour. Director of Warehouse Operations & Food Resourcing
The purpose of the Director of Warehouse Operations and Food Resourcing position is to maximize the Food Share’s impact in the community by developing and supporting a strong logistical operations team and developing and executing an ambitious, nutritious food sourcing plan. The Director serves on the Leadership Team and works with the VP of Programs and other staff to set the strategic direction of Food Share operations and align the team behind a clear set of goals. This is a full-time position, with benefits and the starting pay range will be between $23.28 and $28.51, depending on experience. Are you an experienced driver interested in obtaining your Class B CDL? Let us help you! Our drivers partner with the Food Share in providing excellent customer service to the public and to our partner agencies. This 32 hour per week position, Monday through Friday, five days per week, will pick up and deliver in Marion and Polk counties and is home every night! This position will also function as our back up CDL Driver, when needed. The Food Share is willing to train the right candidate and assist with the costs associated with obtaining a Class B CDL. The starting range is $12.33 - $14.18 per hour and will increase by two dollars per hour once a Class B CDL has been obtained within the first 90 days of hire. In addition, this position receives vacation, sick and holiday pay! Currently this position is not eligible for medical benefits.
