Temporary Delivery Driver/Warehouse Assistant
We have a temporary opening for a Driver/Warehouse Assistant! This position will last approximately nine months and will function both as a Delivery Driver and as a warehouse assistant. The Driver/Warehouse Assistant will play an essential role in the safe and efficient product flow to the partner agencies and help provide a positive experience for those they come in contact with. They will also safely operate a forklift, pallet jack, delivery truck, and other warehouse equipment and will assist in receiving, sorting and stocking product in the warehouse. This is a full-time, temporary position and the starting pay range is $13.09-$15.38 per hour, depending on experience. It includes vacation, sick and holiday pay, but does not include medical benefits. We have a new opening for a part-time Meals on Wheels Dishwasher at Center 50+. Our Dishwashers help to provide a safe, clean, welcoming environment for diners, volunteers and staff through the implementation of a highly efficient sanitation program. This position is 12.5 hours per week (25 hours per pay period) and typically works Monday, 10-3pm, Thursday 11-2pm and occasional Fridays 10-3pm. The starting pay range is between $11.50 and $12.99 per hour. We have a new opening for an Agency Relations Coordinator! The Agency Relations Coordinator supports the Food Share’s community-based strategies that increase food security through coordinating an effective partner meal site and pantry network. This position supports over 100 partner food pantries and meal sites through annual monitoring, data tracking, meal and pantry site development and other network coordination efforts. The Coordinator will also lead Spring Break Lunch programming and coordinate nutrition education at area pantries. This position is 32 hours per week, with some benefits (Life insurance, Short and Long Term Disability) and vacation, sick and holiday pay. but does not include medical benefits. The starting pay will be $16.62-$19.94, depending on experience. Are you looking for an internship opportunity? The Sustainable Farming Internship is a 6-month working experience on an urban vegetable farm designed to give aspiring farmers extensive training in all aspects of organic crop production.
Location: The MPFS Youth Farm is located on the campus of Chemeketa Community College in Salem, OR.
Dates: April through September, 2019.
Hours: 16 hrs/week in April and September; 32 hrs/week May through August.
