Community members of the West Valley are invited discuss and learn about the connection between food and health. The event will be held on February 9th from 6:00 -8:00 pm at the West Valley Community Campus in Willamina, Oregon. There will be a free dinner provided for all participants. The evening will begin with a panel presentation where healthcare providers and community health workers will discuss their work and the trends they see in the community. Afterwards, there will be a discussion amongst participants about opportunities to increase individual and community health through food. Please RSVP to Francene Ambrose at 503-879-3663.
The event is free and open to the public. The Food Access and Community Team, which consists of social service providers and community members concerned about food access, has planned the event.
