It’s been a difficult few months for us here at the food bank, and I know the COVID-19 pandemic has affected your life, too.
It feels like we’ve been working around the clock for too many days to count, trying to keep food stocked up and moved out quickly. Families are pouring in at food pantries, and sometimes it’s overwhelming when you see so much need around you.
But it’s also incredibly heartening how this community has joined together to meet the surging need. And I’m amazed that the compassion and generosity just keep coming. Now, more than ever, we’re counting on people like you to keep giving from the heart for our neighbors struggling to get enough to eat.
As you read through this new edition of Harvester, I hope you’re encouraged by the incredible difference you make and inspired to continue your support while so many are in need. Thank you for all you do!
