During the 2019 growing season, more than 38,500 vegetable and fruit transplants were grown for the Marion Polk Food Share Youth Farm and community gardens network. Thanks to a grant from the Siletz Tribal Charitable Contribution Fund, the seeding process was simplified. Funds from the Siletz Tribe were used to purchase a vacuum seeder, ventilation and watering equipment that will serve the Youth Farm for years to come.
